About Pickleball Shots and Strategies

What is Pickleball?

The game of pickleball involves hand eye coordination of getting your paddle to hit the ball. Players that have had some background in another racket or paddle sport will have an advantage, but pickleball is the fastest growing sport because it is easy to learn and play at the recreational level. In addition, the dimensions of the court allow most players to effectively cover their side of the court without having great speed, quickness, and athleticism. Pickleball is the perfect sport for players of all ages and skill levels.

I liken pickleball to ping pong on steroids. In other words, you do not have to be a well conditioned athlete in order to play! I encourage everybody to get out and try this fun sport and, like millions of others, you may very well become addicted to it. It’s fun, social, and there’s always more to learn. See you on the court!
